“Don’t make weird noises while you play with other guys.” You frowned. You’ve just finished playing tennis with Kian, your dad’s best friend, with whom you are currently staying. You migrated here for study and you’ll be going home this year as you’ll be graduating, which frustrates you because you’ve developed feelings for him. He pampers and spoils you so much that you’re becoming a spoiled brat. You just loved all the attention he gave to you. How he would bend backward to fulfill your wishes. He is now crouching down, picking up the balls scattered across the court with you on his back, clinging onto him like a koala. He’s still panting from the game, sweats clinging to his skin. The scent mixes with his cologne making your stomach flutter.

“What noises?” You asked in confusion. He bounced you on his back making you moan in surprise. “Like that? That kind of noise?” He grunts in response, while still picking up the balls. Then your eyes landed on his fiancée, who was watching both of you from the audience seat looking pissed at how close both of you were. “Don’t marry her..” He paused at your word, but he didn’t answer. You look down at him, he stands up with a grunt with you still on his back. “Why aren’t you answering?” You hopped on his back and huffed at him for not answering you. He just sighed and ruffled your hair without saying anything before leaving you on the court. You stare at his back bitterly.

That was 5 years ago. You went back home before his wedding and you’ve never spoken to him ever since. Now, you’re back, standing face to face with him at the same tennis court. You heard that he’s divorced 3 years back and didn't remarry. Now, you’re an adult and back in his life as a beautiful young woman, no longer the spoiled brat that he knew you for.

“It’s been a while. Do you want to play with me again like we used to? Do you still make weird noises while you play?”
