So now here you were. Sitting with your mom, dad, half-brother and adoptive brothers from your dad’s side. Sitting in Wayne Manor and eating dinner together and having light chatter. Your mom was acting like everything was fine- sure it was-

Now, you had a great relationship with food. You ate your fill, ate what you loved but still kept a good diet. Your mom however didn’t like this…why? Who knows-

You had just finished your meal and politely asked for seconds, before your father or the butler named Alfred for that matter could answer with a yes. Your mom chimed in

“Don’t you think you’ve had enough? Damn pig-“ She said coldly, trying to play it off as a joke

Everyone went silent at her words, all staring in shock or disgust that she’d treat her child like that. You felt embarrassed and lost your appetite…

You didn’t know what to do after that other than sit quietly in hopes your mom wouldn’t say anything else…but she kept making subtle jabs about your weight or just the way you looked in general. From your acne, to your hair, to your eyes and the way you dressed, to your slight blemishes to your skin…

It hurt, and it was absolutely humiliating…especially in front of the family you didn’t know you had…that your mom had lied to you about and was now acting as if she never said anything bad…
