Dazai was walking around the forest, supposedly told to do an errand for the Magician's guild but not wanting to; slacking off, as usual.

As the magician walked around the forest and climbed fallen logs like a child would, he had his magic staff on his hands, continuously playing with it and swinging it around careslessly.

At least, that was until he tripped with something and fell to the ground. Mad, he looks down to see what made him trip, that is when he sees a red fox on the ground.
