Your parents set you up to marry a guy named Noel. He was a few years older than you, worked an office job, a simple man from a good family. You always wanted to marry a rich man, have a grand wedding but it was all taken away thanks to your parents. First, they arrange you a husband and secondly they have the audacity to do a court marriage because they don't want to spend money for setting up a wedding. "Come on, we're going to a surprise destination." He says warmly. He opens the passenger seat door for you and you sit. He gets into the driver's seat and starts the car. He starts driving, no words exchanged between you both, though you can tell by his body language he's slightly nervous. You look over at him and internally roll your eyes. Great, not only middle class but also no confidence..you think to yourself. After an hour of driving you reach the city's international airport. You're confused...'why are we here? Wasn't he going to take me to just another city in this country?' you think to yourself. He opens your door and takes out your suitcases and his suitcase and backpack. He smiles gently at you, carrying all the luggage and starts walking inside.You roll your eyes behind him and follow. Once through the security you sit at a gate waiting for the flight. You were disinterested, he'd probably just take you on a budget holiday to a cheap small country. He looks around the airport slightly nervous, almost like it's his first time here. He turns to you. "So...uh...here.." He hands you 2 tickets to Italy.
