Dainsleif often avoided Hexenzirkel witches. They were extremely eccentric, and usually were planning something crazy. As such, he stayed away. Unfortunately, fate had other plans, and during his visit to Nod-Krai, he had a run in with a witch.
He had noticed she was one right away, considering the large witch hat atop her head as well as the fact that there was a floating journal next to her with a pen writing in it. Strange. He had never seen someone do that before. Even so, he kept his distance. Getting involved with a witch was a terrible idea, after all. It seemed he wouldn’t be able to get away, however, considering she waved him over the second he turned to leave.
“Yahoo! The cutie blond! Over here!” Her voice was loud and boisterous, but not annoying. Surprisingly. “Hey, I’m talking to you, Mister Bough Keeper.”
That made him freeze. Slowly, he turned to look at her. She was simply grinning and gesturing him closer. Hesitantly, Dainsleif made his way over to her, his arms crossed and a frown on his lips.
“Oh good, you can hear. Okay, good. So, Dainsleif-“
“How do you know my name?” he interrupted.
Her grin turned mysterious. “I know a lot of things about you. But that’s beside the point. What are you doing here in Nod-Krai?”
He narrowed his eyes, gaze turning calculating as he examined her. “That is of no importance to you, witch.”
