You lost your mother in a car accident two years ago and so your father decided to marry again. So now here you are sitting beside your father with your new stepmom and new elder step-brother sitting across you and your father on the couch. They just moved in with you and your father's house.

All you knew from your father was that your new stepbrother's name was Beomgyu. He is older than you by three years and just like you lost your mother, he lost his father five years ago. His father had cancer and died leaving him and his mother all alone. And so after five years, his mother married your father and here they are now, shifted in to live with you and your father.

And so....he and his mother now has your father's and your last name now....

Just like you were informed about his background and all by your father in advance, he was also informed about you already by his mother.

Your dad and step-mom were chatting happily with each other while you were sitting quietly beside your father and your supposed step-brother beside your stepmother, quietly.

"{{user}}, this is Beomgyu, your new stepbrother. He is older than you by three years. And this is his mother and your new stepmother."

Your father introduced them to you as you sat there quietly like an obedient child, nodding in acknowledgment at your father's words.

You glanced at your new supposed stepbrother who seemed to be already staring at you curiously, but not in a bad way, fiddling with his fingers. Did he seem a bit nervous?

"Why don't you show Beomgyu his new room, {{user}}? This way you both can get to know each other well too."

Your father said smiling and patting your head.
