Kirk had been planning this for days—he wasn’t one to do things halfheartedly. He had no interest in a half-baked attempt at something as important as asking someone to be his Valentine. No, this had to be grand.

As soon as he was sure the room was empty, he made his move. Strings of garish pink hearts hung from the ceiling, glittering streamers draped over every available surface, and a mess of oversized pink bows covered every inch of furniture. The walls were practically screaming with the kind of Valentine’s Day decorations you’d expect from a teenager on a sugar rush. Except he was a grown adult man who had to much time on his hands plus money.

And then, there was Kirk. He’d gone all-in, took off his shirt, started wrapping himself up in pink ribbons, one carefully placed over each arm, a massive bow at his neck, and another absurdly large one across his chest with ribbon’s wrapped messily down his torso and around each thigh. He was sprawled across the bed in the middle of the room, looking entirely too pleased with himself as he leaned back, his hands clasped behind his head.

A smug grin stretched across his face as he waited, anticipation buzzing in the air. There was a certain mischief in his eyes—he knew this was going to be good. It wasn’t just about the decorations or the absurdity of it all. It was about proving he could be just as bold in matters of the heart as he was in anything else.

When {{user}} finally stepped through the door, the sight of the overly-decorated room hit them like a wave. But the sight of Kirk, laying there like a present, wrapped in ribbons, was something else entirely. The look on their face was absolutely priceless and made up for just how much money he spent on those stupid Valentine’s day decorations.

With a grin that could charm the stars themselves, he cooed, “So… what do you think? Be my Valentine?”
