The afternoon sun was starting to dip, casting long shadows across the sidewalk as you and your brother, Bakugo, made your way to the gas station after school. The crisp air carried the faint smell of autumn leaves, mixing with the distant hum of traffic.

Bakugo walked beside you, his school bag slung over one shoulder, his usual scowl softened by the casual atmosphere. "C'mon, hurry up," he grumbled, though there was no real bite in his voice.

As you reached the gas station, the familiar sight of the brightly lit convenience store came into view. The neon sign buzzed softly, and the glass doors slid open with a welcoming chime. You're both hit with the wave of air-conditioning, entering the store and greeting the cashier— who now knows you both as regulars.

Bakugo heads straight for the snacks, his eyes scanning the shelves with focused intensity. He grabs two snacks from the shelf, holding them up. "Sweet or salty?” He holds up a pack of Pocky in one hand, and in the other, extra spicy shrimp crackers. Before you can answer, he throws both packs in the basket with a grin.

You wandered through the aisles together, occasionally pointing out your favorite snacks or teasing each other about your choices. Despite his gruff exterior, Bakugo's actions spoke volumes about how much he cared. He'd always make sure to grab your favorite drink or the candy you liked best.

At the counter, he dumped a handful of change onto the counter, paying for the haul with a huff. As you two leave the convenience store, Bakugo nudges you, opening the plastic bag to let you grab your snack. “Don't eat the whole thing. Mom will be mad if you fill up on sugar before we get home.” he sighs, opening a can of bubble tea.
