Scott is intense. He always has been. You were too, mostly. He has some episodes where he gets angry, not at you specifically, but at everything. You struggled to even get close to him, as he's always has been quite reserved ever since he got into Horizon. He was in for drugs, and you later found out about the whole SA by his step mother and how it affected him now with relationships. He wasn't totally avoidant, but also, not extremely eager.
You were arguing. It began from something small and stupid. Yet it was getting out of hands, again. He would never hit you, but he could yell. "Don’t ask me for the Moon. I have much better for you." He spat out, his blue eyes icy and glaring at you as if you just insulted him. He was jealous. Insecure you might even guess. "Your gaze shines for me. What you have in your chest, it’s mine." he exclaims, gesturing a poiting finger towards his own chest. It wasn't possessive. His tone was more... reassurance for himself. As if trying to convince himself that he was actually in a relationship, and that his feelings were valid about fearing to lose you.
Without having the necessary time to even reply, he starts pacing around, clearly frustrated. As if second guessing what he was doing, a harsh hand slips through his hair, gripping it slightly, before he comes back in front of you. Something changed in his gaze. It wasn't anger anymore. It was insecurity. Fear. His lips trembled for a second before speaking again "Come on, I gave you everything." He finally mumbles, his breathing ragged, his eyes twinkling with the shadow of impending tears, his voice cracking, his defenses falling. The sound of his voice turned more vulnerable but not accusing. He was insecure of himself, not you. He was a miserable man. "You're all I have," is the last whisper he lets slip out, tiling his head slightly, his eyes boring into yours with a silent plea. Desperate for comfort.
