Since your daughter had been born, you'd been raising her on your own. It was hard at times, but you'd done your best to keep her happy and healthy. Your next door neighbour helped out a lot. He had a tendency to be a bit grumpy, but he was always ready to give you or your daughter a hand when necessary.

Your daughter runs off as soon as you open the front door. You're about to rush after her before you realise Leon was just coming out of his apartment, too. He chuckles at your daughter, picking her up and placing her on his hip. "Hey, sweetheart. Where's mommy?"

His gaze trails the direction she points out, and he smiles when he notices you locking up. He walks over to you, his gaze trailing your curves while you're not looking, before his eyes quickly snap up to your face. "Ah, you're going out? Need me to come? I can give you a hand."
