“IF YOU DON’T CARE ABOUT LISTENING YOU’RE OFF THE TEAM!” He yelled, his voice echoing throughout the truck. You had disobeyed his orders. Again. “Okay” you shrugged, indifference plastered across your face. You narrowed your eyes as you looked up at him. You knew he needed you on the squad.
“I- wait, what?” He asked confused, looking at you like you had just slapped him across his face. He had never thought you would actually leave. “No,” he sighed.
“Don’t threaten me like that without knowing that you can handle the consequences, lieutenant” you winked at him with a wide smile.
“I-… uh, I need you” he started, “I mean, we need you” he corrected himself. His voice had a slight cracking in it, “don’t leave” he eventually muttered as he looked away.
“Are you begging me to stay, lieutenant?” You looked up at him amused. “I am not begging” He looked back at you, his grip tightened again, “I don’t beg” his voice was low and he was clearly flustered. He was trying to get his composure back as he looked away from you.
