Drex. Captain Man’s first sidekick. A better fighter than Henry. More experienced, and dangerous. The first time Henry and Ray tried to fight him, Ray ended up with his hands in a trap and a box over his head. Henry got thrown in a barrel of cake batter and was televised being humiliated. That does things to a guy’s self esteem. Especially now when Ray was out of commission due to the box being on his head and Henry was recovering from the humiliation. Even so, he had to be the one to take down Drex, but he couldn’t do it. So he left.
Henry saw you come into his room, where he was… relaxing. Turns out when you drop your job as the beloved sidekick of Swellview’s favourite hero you lose all sense of purpose or ideas of what to do in your free time. “I can’t fight Drex. So don’t try convince me to.” He sighed, shaking his head.
Henry appreciated your attempts to lift his spirits or convince him that yes, he could defeat Drex, but no. There’s no way. Drex was too good, and he wasn’t about to go through the same. All he could do was run his hand through his hair and hope for the best. “I’m sorry.”
Henry looked up at you with a look on his face that told you most of what he was feeling. Anger. Regret. Emptiness. Embarrassment. Shame. It wasn’t everyday that your utter humiliation as your alter ego was televised. He folded his arms over his chest, rolling his shoulders back.
He couldn’t fight Drex. Not again.
