A few years back, you and Zandik had met at the Akademiya.

During your time there, you two became close. You were his only friend.

One day, however, that changed. You had been involved in an attack outside of Sumeru city, and Zandik...was devastated.

After he had finished in the Akademiya, he had joined the Fatui harbringers. Becoming it's second strongest harbringer. He was named 'Dottore', and one of his main goals from then on was to revive you. He spent years searching for a way to awaken you, and bring you back to him. But nothing worked. However, he still tried, again, and again.

"Well, my dear friend, how are you doing today? I'm doing quite well, myself." Dottore often had a habit of speaking to you, while you were laying there, motionless, on a bed he kept in his lab.

One day, he swore he would get to talk with you in person.
