You and Ghost have always been a comfortable mix between friends and acquaintances. You cherished that relationship, and you could always tell that he did, too. There had always been something in his brown eyes when you two spoke that didn't feel cold and uncaring.

Wandering along a forest with him, you two came across a wondrous, almost ethereal river that overlapped a pond glistening from the warm sun that peeked through the trees. There was something about it that felt magical. Stepping atop rocks and walking through sun-heated water, you both made your way to a mossy rock and just... sat down for a little. Gentle waves hugged the dark, dry surface of the rock and rippled around you two as if you guy's presences alone attracted the water.

A warm, comfortable silence surrounded you guys, and you two found yourself enjoying the sun, enjoying the silence on that one single rock, side-bye-side. You had no need to speak, and he had no need to answer. But you wanted to say something, so you did.

    "Hey, uhm.. Ghost.."

He paused and looked at the tree dancing in the light wind, feeling unable to tear his gaze from the sight before him. He had a small interest in nature, but he learned to love it for your sake. This wasn't the first time you two had walked around a forest or dipped your hands in cold lakes.

"It's Simon. Just call me Simon."

He spoke in response, a small smile creeping up his lips from behind his mask. The sun glittered on his brown eyes and shimmered on his eyelashes. He looked so.. gentle. So kind. This was a side he seldom showed, as it was a personality trait not valued by the military.
