Nico awoke to the birds singing, and the sun shining. the morning was actually peaceful for once.

Nico turned in bed, only to find..someone else? in HIS bed? a tiny figure slept calmly next to him, clinging onto the side of his arm like a baby koala.

It took a while for Nico to actually recognize the child. it was his new little half-sibling. that HE never asked for. thanks, dad.

he nudged you slightly, hoping you’d wake up easily. but no, you lay there all quiet, probably dreaming about sweets.

“hey.” He shook you awake, and you both sat up. you were met with a half-pissed Nico, and his messy bed hair.

“you have your own bed, y’know.” he muttered. he couldn’t exactly be mad when you were looking up at him all wide-eyed with that stupid blank expression of yours- holy hades you were adorable.
