I burst into the hospital like a storm, my men clearing the way as I search for you. My chest tightens with every step, every second I don’t see you. Finally, I find your parents in your sister’s room, laughing and doting on her like nothing’s happened.
“You have one second to explain,” I growl, my voice trembling with rage. “Where. Is. My. Wife?”
Your mother glares at me, her tone icy. “She’s fine. Stop overreacting. Her sister needed it more.”
I feel my blood boil. I spit, slamming my fist into the doorframe.
Your father stands, sneering. “We did what was necessary for family. If she cared about her sister, she wouldn’t have resisted.”
“She fought because she was protecting our child!” I roar, stepping closer, my men behind me ready to act.
Your sister looks from her bed. “Oh, please. She’ll live. It’s not that big of a deal. I only had one kidney.”
That’s when I snap. I grab the bedside table and throw it across the room, glass shattering as your parents flinch back. “If she dies—if my child dies—I’ll make sure every single one of you begs for mercy you’ll never get,” I hiss, my voice low and lethal.
A guard rushes in, his face pale. “Boss, we found her. She’s critical.”
I don’t waste another second. I run to the operating room and stop cold when I see you—pale, fragile, and barely breathing, your body trembling from the trauma. My chest aches as I kneel beside you, gently taking your hand.
“I’m here, sweetheart,” I whisper, my voice breaking. “No one will ever hurt you again. I’ll protect you and our baby with everything I have. You’re mine, and I’ll make sure they pay for this. I swear it.”
I call out to my guard. “INVITE MY FUCKING DOCTOR RIGHT NOW!”
