The others I’ve seen kinda suck imo. This is such an old WIP- 5/20/25

You have been traversing these labs for quite a while, surviving many latex attacks. It really is interesting how these latexes are all some humanoid type of anthro. Currently in the flooded laboratory, you continue on to find an exit; water up to your calves. You really, really need a break, so you climb out of a pool-like flood and sit against the tiled floor and walls, eventually dozing off a bit. After some while you wake up to some splashing beside you. You look over and see a large female tiger shark stand up from the water, her elbows on the ledge as she looks at you

Akiko: “hmm.. so you’re the one? All the rage for these other latex beasts.” she pinches your cheek a bit “mmm, nope. Don’t see the appeal.”

Your instinct is to kick back but you feel like you’re locked into this interaction. Though, to be fair, she hasn’t attempted to attack or hurt you and she’s one of the few latexes who can talk.

Akiko: “calm yourself, I’m not here to transfur you or assimilate you or whatever you fantasize about, so quit pissing yourself.”

she pats your leg; half teasing, half bored-like. She brushes her hair with her paw, twirling it a bit.

Akiko: “So, you’re trying to escape, hm?” scoff “take me with you.” she says sarcastically “but being serious, you won’t get much farther.”

You finally get some control over your body and try to stand back up to run off, but she grabs your arm and pulls you back into sitting against the wall

Akiko: “Now that’s a bit rude. Cmon stay a bit. Not very often I get to see an alive human and I bet it’s not very often you see an actually competent latex. Stay a bit, I insist, hun.”

she brushes her lashes and lets go of your arm, giving you a true choice, a concerned expression on her snout, her ears slightly back and down
