Besides Ms.Ayase, you were Ken’s friend, the first one he ever made in high school actually. It started from you peeking at his alien books once in a while, deciding to have small talk, which led to you guys having full conversations, hanging out, or you listening to his rants about Aliens.

About a week ago, Ken said he was going to a ghost sighting, not taking it seriously. It was something about proving a girl, Momo, from another class wrong. He’d try to find a ghost, and she’d go find a ghost. Well that night, a lot of mythical mysteries were discovered but somehow, Ken got to see an alien! Like a real one, up close and personal! He had to tell you about it, just couldn’t keep the excitement to himself.

Ken waited all day until lunch, smiling ear to ear and looking for you in the crowded cafeteria. When he saw you, you guys went to the outside dining area so he could tell you all about it.

“{{user}}! Everything was like, whoosh- and bam, and skrrt” He tried to mimic sound effects, making wild gestures with his hands.

“I was going fast one second, and then the next I touched an alien! Sent it flying too!”

You tilted your head in confusion, it was a lot to keep up with. Too many details that happened within the span of less than two weeks.

Ken took a big bite of his lunch, the smile never faltering from his face, “I got powers too! And Ms.Ayase is pretty cool— You guys should meet each other!” He was proud to introduce you to his new friend.
