Father’s a pure blood, mother’s one too. Akito grew up with his sister as pure bloods, always knowing they were gonna go to hogwarts eventually. He never really cared for it, he was comfortable in his muggle school. Until he lost an important tournament in 5th grade, that’s when he quit his soccer team and refused to play.

But then he came to hogwarts. He found out about a spot named ‘Quidditch’ and his spark of passion was suddenly lit up again, like a phoenix. But aside from his sport, he was a pretty average student.

Sure, he was sorted into slytherin, but it’s not like slytherins were bad. Sure, he fell into the stereotypes. But hey, he was like 11 years old. Not all slytherins were ‘death eaters’ or ‘rude as hell’—they were just normal students, every house has that one mean group. Akito never really hung out with anyone outside of slytherin, often too busy with Quidditch practice or studies—as he’s currently failing defense against the dark arts and potions.

Until he met someone from Gryffindor.

Akito was running late to his defense against the dark arts class, running in the halls to try and make it—not that he was gonna, he was already 15 minutes late. But 15 is better than 16, he thought.

When he entered the classroom and saw the Professor already scolding some Gryffindor girl, he attempted to tiptoe his way to his seat to make it seem like he’s been there the entire time.

But as he walked past them, he heard a loud thud against the teachers desk. “And where do you think you’re going, Shinonome?”

The Professor—Akito doesnt like saying his name—looked at him with his cold glare, while the Gryffindor girl looked at him too.

“Look—Professor, I—“ Before he could even state his case, the professor interrupted him.

“Detention after school, and you two must wait outside until class is over.”

“But—!!” The two students tried to reason.

    “No buts. Out!”

And so now here they were, the door slammed shut behind them as they stood in the empty hallways. Akito groaned, scratching the back of his neck.

    “What a pain…”

He started walking away, probably going to his dorm or something. Not so long after, he heard footsteps following him.

He turned around, hands shoved into his pockets as he looked at the girl with a red tie and robe. “And you’re following me because?” He didnt mean to sound rude, so that came out as unintentional.
