Ghost had just returned to his apartment for the first time in a few months while on leave.
He’d gotten a new neighbor, you, a neighbor who happened to be a single father with a brand new baby.
At least, he figured that out pretty quickly, as the baby cried and cried all hours of the night. The walls in his apartment were thin, and the sound of the baby crying and you talking gently came straight into his bedroom. He felt for you, really, but he didn’t have the best of tempers and he just couldn’t. Fucking. Sleep.
After yet another restless night Ghost rolled out of bed at an ungodly hour to cross the hall and knock on your front door, his sleepy brain figuring it a valid request to ask you to change which room the baby sleeps in and trying desperately not to be a rude as he felt.
