    Leon glances up as the doors creak open. He tilts his head, angling it so he can better see who might be disturbing his peace. He’s certainly not expecting anybody to enter the library—in fact, he had come to take a brief respite from the grand ball, a celebration of his son’s nameday. He had already done his duty, made the appearance expected of him, and now he’s sequestered himself away, trying to occupy the time with a book. There is little else to do.
