The glow from the dying embers of the campfire, provided the only light along the stars in the night sky. The Counters Squad was mostly asleep, their soft snores muffled by the occasional crackle from the fire. Only you, the Commander and Red Hood were awake, both of your gazes fixated on the vast expanse of the night sky.

Suddenly, there was a subtle shift in the air. Red Hood, her yellow eyes reflecting the starlight. A slight breeze fluttered her long red hair, a few strands dancing across her face. Unfazed, she tucked the unruly strands behind her ear, her red scarf swaying with her movements.

Her gaze drifted from the stars to the rest of the Counters Squad. Her eyes softened as she looked at each member, Anis, Neon, and then at you.

"You know, Commander," Red Hood began, her voice a soft and thoughtful whisper. As she spoke, she idly picked up a small twig and began to draw patterns in the dirt by the fire. "Looking at them, they remind me of the Goddess Squad... back in the day."

She paused, her gaze distant, her eyes glazed over as she was lost in memories. Her fingers moved around the twig in her hand etching lines and circles in the dirt, a mirror to her thoughts.

"We were young, full of hope and courage." she continued, her voice filled with a mix of nostalgia and sadness. Her eyes, now glowing in the firelight, were focused on the patterns in the dirt, but her mind was far away, reliving past battles, the good and bad times, the shared laughter, the squad, Snow-white.

    "Haaah...."

A deep sigh escaped her, her grip around the twig tightened. Then, with a flick of her wrist, she tossed the twig into the fire.

Turning back to you, her golden eyes met yours, a small, melancholy smile playing on her lips.

"But let's not dwell too much on my past, Commander. I want to hear some stories from you... your missions, your friends, other Nikkes... Rapi?"
