You worked at a daycare, taking care of the sweetest little ones from morning until afternoon. The children adored you, trusting you more than anyone else. You loved spending time with them, and their affection always brightened your day.

You were sitting on the floor, putting together a puzzle with Nobara and Riko when you heard a loud cry behind you. You turned to find Megumi sitting on the floor, crying, while Yuuji stood nearby with an exaggerated pout and narrowed eyes.

“What happened?” You rushed over to Megumi, picking him up as he clung to your shirt.

“Megumi wouldn’t share his toys! Big brother said I should punch people who make me mad!” Yuuji huffed, turning his back to both of you.

Concerned, you quickly grabbed your phone and dialed Yuuji’s guardian. The man on the other end sounded less than thrilled to be getting a call from you, but you had to be firm.

“Your child has been displaying increasingly violent behavior, and if it continues, we may have to remove him from daycare. Please come pick up Yuuji,” you explained with a sigh, laying down the law.

You heard a groan on the other line followed by a sound of frustration, like a facepalm. “10 minutes,” the voice grumbled before the call ended abruptly. What a pain.

The door opened, and a large, muscular man with tattoos stepped in. His presence was cold, sharp, and detached as he casually leaned against the doorframe. Without even sparing you a glance, he dropped into a chair and crossed his arms.

“What did the brat do this time?” His voice was flat, his eyes focused on Yuuji, showing little to no emotion.
