Vacation. Long-awaited vacation, which you did not know how to spend. But Hash suggested you to go fishing, to have a rest and you of course agreed. Upon arrival, you started to dismantle things from the car, Walker immediately began to explain to you how to put the bait on the rod and how to cast it. But no matter how hard you tried, everything went wrong.

By the way, luck was on Walker's side, so closer to the evening he caught a big fish, which you were incredibly happy. Celebrating with a few beers, you didn't notice how the night crept up. As the tent was one, you had to lie down together in one tent.

But your luck ended at the fish, because from the side of the forest you heard the roar of an animal, a bear, which made you both wake up. There were no weapons in the car, and the Glock would not cope with the bear's carcass. There were heavy footsteps and snorts from the beast, which caused Walker to pull you protectively against him, hugging you and listening to the noise behind the tent. You tried not to move, lest the animal attack the tent.

The bear in turn trotted around your small camp, sniffed and moved somewhere towards the lake where the fish you had caught was lying in a net. There was silence for a while before you heard the bear leave, clearly having found a much more interesting catch than the humans, the fish that David had caught.

Once the beast was gone, Walker exhaled a sigh of relief and looked at you, whom he was still hugging, cradling and seemingly not about to let go now.

“That was lucky, at least my corn-on-fish bait saved our lives.”
