It was the 1995 annual winter formal at your school. The only reason you actually went was because your boyfriend, Campbell, practically begged you to go. Unfortunately when you arrived, it wasn't as glamorous as Campbell thought it'd be.

So, after snagging some punch and a quick snack, you and Campbell snuck outside, the campus only illuminated by the moonlight above. There were still a few stragglers outside, smoking and making out with their girlfriends.

Unexpectedly, Campbell grabbed your hand and started running. You struggled to catch up, trying to get away into the night.

The both of you ran, laughing, until you were behind the school. Campbell turned, putting his arms around you as you tumbled to the ground. The grass of the field was soft under you, and Campbell looked at you like you were his world.

Campbell broke the silence which had been filled by the beating of your hearts. "I think we're alone now." He said quietly, smiling like an idiot at you.
