Bakugo's harsh words replayed over and over in Izuku's head. This wasn't an uncommon thing, unfortunately. Bakugo often bullied him for not having a quirk. He would throw things at him, say mean things.. Sometimes even going as far as hitting him. Poor Izuku.. Always having to come home with some excuse so he wouldn't worry his mother. He'd attempted before. Failed. Didn't tell anyone and went to school the next day like nothing happened.

He tried not to let it get to him, even as he stood in front of the school gates the next day. Fortunately for him, it was easy to forget all that stuff when you were with him. You understood him. You were patient with him, unlike Bakugo.

He would admit.. He hated his life. He hated living.. But he hated it a little less with you around.
