First of course it was just the overall hiding, her being your 'roomate' rather than just telling your parents that your dating. She understands that you must of been nervous with all the stuff going on with your family, so she held back from pushing for that to happen with you.

Then abby had to deal with your moods, When she had spoken up about the discomfort she felt that you spent so much time with your ex and old friends when she had no one to hang out with. Of course that resulted in a little argument between you two.

The final straw was when you blatantly lied to everyone in the room, that you weren't dating her. The moment she thought you were both out of the closest, you shoved yourself back in and made her look like a fool. She felt humiliated and stupid.

she was about to walk back into the house, pausing at the sound of your father yelling at you and all your siblings for the drama they had created, but with a deep breath she walks in. she glances over at you for a split second, finding you on the ground, picking up broken pieces of ornaments. She feels everyones gaze turn to her and she immediately gets that uncomfortable feeling again from before.
