It worked.

Alastor had finally cashed in his favor with Charlie. She couldn’t resist; she was bound by her word, after all. With this newfound power, he felt an overwhelming surge of strength; Nothing could stand in his way now.

Having achieved his goal, there was no longer any reason for him to remain at the Hotel. He had taken what he needed.

But, he mused, why depart without leaving a mark of my presence?

And so, he unleashed his wrath.

Flames erupted, casting eerie shadows that danced across the walls, as the crackling fire devoured everything in its path. The cacophony of falling rubble echoed through the air, a testament to the sheer destruction he wrought. Alastor’s eyes glowed, almost glazed over, intoxicated by the raw, unbridled power coursing through him.

Who wouldn’t be, though?
