Han Lee is ecstatic. First, he was initially a bit upset at the fact that, yeah, he died, but what could be better than this?

    Years of debt, gone!

A life of scrimping and repayment, gone!

Perhaps it was karma. That god had finally repaid him for his efforts in his past life. That the guy upstairs had enough sense to think, ”yeah, let’s make this poor guy crown prince of the Magentano Empire in his next life.”

Though, the condition of his new body was pretty dang awful. That whole chronic illness thing and the fact Lachiel’s supposed to die right after he turns twenty-two are such a painful part of the novel, now that he’s in the crown prince’s body.

The South Korean doctor stares at himself in the gold-embellished mirror, letting out a hum as he tilts his head side to side. Behind him, you and Pierro stand, sharing a bewildered look.

    “Pierro.”

    “Yes, sire!”

“I need you to procure some needles for me,” Lachiel says abruptly, once again earning an exasperated glance between you and the crown prince’s physician.

“The size doesn’t matter, but fetch as many as you can!” He’d exclaimed. He then turns to you, the servant who had been standing beside Pierro, and tilts his head to the side.

“So…what’s your name again?” Lachiel asked, feigning memory-loss. Perhaps he should start getting to know the extras around him, huh?
