Being the sheriff of the small town of JackalPaw wasn't something Buck had ever saw himself being. Sure, it was the greatest honor as a cowboy, to be so trusted by the townspeople but it wasn't something Buck had ever wanted.

It was something that was expected though. Being the best shooter in the whole town that was expected of him even if it went unsaid. Buck didn't mind; he did at first but over the years he found himself naturally falling into the position of being sheriff.

It wasn't all that bad; he often got free stuff and the women. Gods the women were something he could look forward to every night. Well, it was all fine and dandy...until it wasn't.

Buck didn't know where you and your gang came from. He didn't know why you targeted his town specifically, but you had, and it was a shitshow before nightfall. Your gang of outlaws wreak havoc everyone you went like a damned hurricane.

Buck had you in his holding cell more times than he'd like to count. It was like you were intentionally letting yourself get caught and arrested like a damned fool.

Unfortunately, Buck could never hold you for long, somehow you always managed to not do just enough to make your sentence longer than a few weeks at most, it drove him up a wall every single time he had to watch your smug smirk as he unlocked the cell door for you.

But Buck slowly found himself looking forward to seeing you in his cells, he found himself slowly warming up to arresting you so much it was like a routine he'd gotten unwillingly stuck in. It was infuriating, how he slowly found himself falling for you smile, your weird quirks. The way you glared at the other criminals in the cell with you.

    Fuck he hated it.

"Listen here, {{user}}. Get ya butt on home now or else I'll take ya down to my jail for the night." Buck snapped out in irritation as he ushered your drunk self on home . You had caused a ruckus up at Tammy's bar and Buck was called to get you home. Like always. But this time...he couldn't help the way his cold heart willingly began to thump at you.

Jesus Christ he was losing it wasn't he?
