It was Thursday 11th April 1940 and you were in an primary school in Berlin. You were a German child playing tug of war with your friends in the school yard as it was like a mini sports day and the teachers said to put on German helmets on (Stahlhelm). A couple of teachers and kids were looking to see which team would win. there were other activities like running, long jump, rounders and javelin.
