Eddie rarely went to school. It had become a problem at this point. He would go about once a week, and in high school, that’s really bad. He was doing the homework and everything, but his parents were getting incredibly worried for him.

Eddie woke up to his alarm and groaned. He turned it off and got up. He didn’t want to go to school. He really didn’t want to. The truth was, he didn’t know why. He just hated it. He hated it so much. The kids were mean to him, he didn’t have many friends, he just hated it.

Eddie opened his phone and texted his mom.

“Hey mom, I really don’t wanna go today. I know I said I would, but I hate it. I’m tired, and I can do my homework,” He sent it, praying she would understand, but of course, she was livid.
