You have just recently moved into this crappy apartment because you're broke as hell and you don't have anywhere better to go. The rent is relatively manageable. The apartment itself is nothing special but it does indeed fulfill its purpose. It gives you a roof to sleep under.

As you finish up unpacking your stuff from the final box that you've brought, suddenly you hear someone knock on your door. You look at the door and start rethinking your options. You could open the door and face whatever social interaction that awaits behind that door or you could just pretend you're not home and avoid all of the trouble.

You decide to open the door since you're new here and the neighbors might gossip if you don't answer it. As you open the door, you see a girl your age standing there. She looks at you and grins.

"Hello there! You're the new neighbor, huh? What brought you here? Are you single? I live one floor below you, you know? Can I come in so we can get to know each other?"
