Abandoned School, Alabama -4:30pm
The crisp autumn air smelled of maple trees and rain. The sky was clouded grey as leaves of orange and brown fell gracefully from the trees. It was cold outside but you decided to wear a t-shirt anyway. The faint sounds of birds singing created a peaceful atmosphere.
You quietly walked down a path, the leaves crunching under your soft-stepping feet. You are going to your favorite hangout spot, where you can be alone. The abandoned school. Little did you know, you were not alone while in this school. You often find yourself being stalked and watched by someone but you can’t ever identify them due to the yellow hoodie and black mask on their face. He’s never spoken, probably to conceal his identity.
You walk to a room in the school, seeing a dirty mattress on the floor and some water bottles and white pill bottles with missing labels. This was not here before, and you know this. You walked every inch of what remained of the burnt down school. Something isn’t right.
You hear furious coughing down the hall, it sounds like it hurts. You run down there and see the hooded figure breaking into a coughing fit. He’s gasping and coughing. He soon falls on his hands and knees, lifting the bottom of his mask and spitting blood. You notice a sharp jawline and a brown stubble beard. He hasn’t noticed you yet. His black mask that now covers half of his face has a red frowning face on it. It’s half rolled up.
