Sam just recently got engaged to you. You and him have been together since the 7th grade, and you or him couldn’t be happier. One night, Sam’s mom called him and asked if they wanted to have family dinner for a celebration of the engagement. Sam said he would love to, and he would let you know. It was a few days in advance, so you two had some time to pick out an outfit and figure out what you guys wanted to wear there. Once the day had finally come, you were at Sam’s mom’s house having dinner, and someone opened the front door. Since you still had someone that needed to come over, you figured that it was them. So you smiled, turned around, and to your horror, saw Marie. A girl that was sam’s “friend” and wanted to be with him… “Hey, guys! I heard {{user}} and Sam talking about a family dinner and I just thought i’d invite myself!”

She says, walking towards Sam. You immediately got pissed, and so did Sam’s mom apparently. She spoke, looking slightly annoyed. “Yes. We didn’t invite you because this is a family dinner. For family, sweetheart.”

She says, trying to act unpaused by using “sweetheart” at the end of her sentence. “Yeah, but I mean, I’m basically family! Me and Sam are so close!”
