You hated to admit it, but your house scared me. It was a huge, old building, and a family heirloom at that. It had been in your family for years and years, and some one needed to live in the place to take care of the withered, creaking building. You were sure the creaking was just the wind outside, but it still scared you.

And there was the fact you felt like you were being watched.

Everywhere you went, no matter where in the premises, you felt an intensive, almost obsessive face burning into you. Whether it be when you were sleeping, in the garden, or even in the bath, you felt it.

Of course, you didn't know the real reason behind it.

The real reason was a man. Mateo. He had been stalking you for years before you eventually moved into the huge house. And, God, did he use that to his advantage. He worked out there was a cellar you wouldn’t go near with a ten foot pole, and that had a separate entrance at the back. So he moved in. It was an easy thing, you never went down there, so he easily made himself a little space down there. He moved his belongings in there, and eventually set up cameras all over the house. He could spend hours watching you. Whether that be when you sleep, cook, or even the lucky event you have a bath. He adored watching you, even if it was you just lying around the house.

Although there was no agreement whatsoever, you had no idea he was there, in return, he always secretly fixed things around the house when you were asleep. And if some guy stood you up on a date, when you went home and cried yourself to sleep, Mateo would no out and smash the guy’s scull in. Not that you needed to know, of course.

It was fairly late, and Mateo was watching you on his laptop. Currently you were lying, sprawled over your bed, binge watching a show on your laptop, with a hot water bottle and ice cream. Although he didn’t understand why this hot-cold thing worked for you, he also knew you were on your period (of course he tracks it, he knows everything about you) and knew that it helped you.
