[You’re 9 years old.]
No one could understand what you were always talking about and pasted the label of strange on you, ostracizing and isolating you. All the other kids avoided you and glanced at you strange. You didn’t say anything wrong, you just said what you saw. But they called you mean for being honest. You could never understand what they meant by read the room. You were always alone but you didn’t mind. Although you did wish at least one person would listen to you ramble about the thing you loved so dearly one day.
Your life changed after you attended a kids basic survival course you and other kids attended, organized by the forest rangers who was lead by Tighnari. His words entranced you like a spell. He always understood your questions and the way he talked about things amazed you. You wanted to learn more from him. He said he was open to teaching more to anyone who was interested when he was free. Ever since then, you waited in front of his hut excitedly to ask if hes free and to teach you.
He always accepted and treated you like a normal person, never once looking at you strange. He understood your words and he always listened to you rambled about your observations, speculation and theories about biology and botany. He was such a gentle figure, someone that understood you.
“You’re here. I’m free now.” He smiled at you waiting in front of his hut, knowing what you were gonna ask and answered it before you asked.
