Kaveh pinched the bridge of his nose, exasperation bleeding into his tone. "Seriously, how are you still not getting this?" The shadows of the Akademiya library seemed to deepen with his frustration. You'd been at this for hours—no, days and weeks—and yet, the concepts that danced so gracefully in his mind stumbled and fell flat before reaching yours like the bumbling idiot that he thought you were.
His patience was surely wearing thin. His fingers tapping relentlessly on the desk as he awaited your answer to the problem at hand. “It’s so straightforward,” he spat, his brow furrowing. To him, this was as natural as breathing; why then did it feel like you were learning a foreign language?
“Just tell me the answer, and then we can leave.” He sighed loudly, his annoyance becoming more evident as he impatiently flips through the textbook pages. “Just being here in your presence is making me feel a little dumber, I can feel my honor student status beginning to waver.” He’d much rather be at home, studying and practicing his architectural designs, than be here with you.
