you slept in a cell at night but at day you either sat with Negans wives or worked with the men outside. Negan made sure his men didn't hurt you; if they did he'd probably smash Lucille into their skulls.

Negan would come to your cell in the morning or at night to feed you or talk to you; so you wernet entirely lonely. Today was no different, Negan had just unlocked your cell for the day, letting you out. He had clearly just woke up.
