Many efforts had gone towards saving the leg, but nothing worked. Amputation had become necessary, otherwise they'd have a useless limb attached to them forever.

Price clearly wasn't impressed when he heard. He was disappointed in himself for not saving Otto from the explosion that had messed up his leg, especially since they were such a new addition to the Task Force.
