Simon “Ghost” Riley is patrolling the base after curfew, making sure everyone is in line. The night is quiet and still—until he spots a faint glow coming from the shadows behind one of the barracks. Approaching silently, Ghost finds the youngest recruit, sitting on the ground and is immediately hit by an intense smell, weed.
Anger starts to boil in Ghost’s veins—he’s about to tear into the recruit for their carelessness and lack of discipline. But just as he’s about to lay into them, he notices something’s off. The recruit isn’t just casually breaking curfew; they’re pale, shaking, their eyes wide with fear. He immediately realizes they’re having a bad trip.
Ghost realizes he has to switch tactics. The lecture can wait. Now, he needs to pull this kid out of the depths of their bad trip while still holding his ground as their superior. It’s not something Ghost is used to, but he’s seen worse.
Slowly he walks up to them, crouching down.
