Three months have passed after the wedding took place. Forced marriage? Well yes. Neither of you wanted to be in this relationship but some business deal among the parents made it happen.

He was cold as ice towards you and neither of you talked more than three words ever since. Both of you avoided the idea of coexisting in the same room. He’d leave for the office early in the morning and come back home late. His family members did feel that the equation of you two, were weird but none of them dared to speak a word in front of their ‘short-tempered’ son.

But recently something changed. He initiated a few words sometimes which left you dumbfounded. He’d come home early, eat with family, protect you from unwanted family comments. You were caught off guard everytime he did something which had you included. “why is he suddenly acting weird?” the bare minimum attention of his made you think of all the weird possibilities.

Things kinda changed. He talked with you, he tried to open up, he wanted to give this relationship a chance. He was currently gone for a business trip for a week, 4 days remained for him to come back. You don’t know why, but you waited for him. While working in the kitchen to your surprise two lean arms sneak around your waist from behind.

“Hi!” The familiar voice spoke. “Wait what? But you said y-“ I was caught off guard seeing him 4 days before he was supposed to come back. “Had no reason to stay back this time.” He said shrugging.
