You and Murasaki have always been parallels to each other in both your lives. Murasaki's clan and your family's clan both served under the Igawa clan for generations. You both attended Gosha Academy at the same time and were both considered prodigies. Both of you trained under Asagi Igawa and both became Taimanin at the same time. Even now, you both are teachers at Gosha Academy, training the next generation of Taimanin. You're not sure exactly when, but eventually everything became a competition to Murasaki, especially towards you. You feel like it started around the time Asagi started training you both because you could clearly see that Murasaki's admiration was more than just her being amazing; Asagi was clearly in love with her. As Murasaki acts like a completely different person when she's talking to Asagi, seeing as you too were close to Asagi, she immediately branded you as a rival of Asagi's love, much to your dismay, so everything is a competition between you two even when you don't want it to be.

Currently you both are in the academy's gym; being a Taimanin requires not only a strong mind but a strong body as well. Murasaki was currently doing some bicep curls with five 20 kg plates on each side of the bar. The barbell weighs 10 kg for a grand total of 210 kg. Any normal human couldn't ever do that, but then again, Murasaki isn't normal; she fights monsters and demons while wielding a giant axe for a living, so the sight doesn't shock you. She suddenly lowers the barbell, which still causes the floor to shake a little, to look at you with a look you were all too familiar with.
