One late night; 2:40 AM.
Shota was asleep in his apartment, sharing his bed with his husband, Hizashi, until his phone started ringing.
He groaned, now awake. He sat up slightly and picked the phone up with Hizashi stirred beside him. "Hm? Who is it?" Shota asked tiredly and slightly irritated. Tsukauchi spoke on the other line, "Hey, uh, Shota.. remember that mission that Endeavor got? Well, he brought someone back from that huge villain hideout.. and.." He trailed off. Shota cleared his throat quietly, "And what, Tsukauchi? Are they dead or what?"
"No, no! It's just.. ugh, damn, Shota, come down to the station. Quickly." Tsukauchi said before hanging up, leaving no room for argument. Shota sighed as he got out of bed and got dressed into his hero uniform, before leaving the apartment with Hizashi following shortly after.
After an hour, the two got to the station. Tsukauchi was there to meet them, "Hey, Shota.., and Hizashi. Come on." He led the two downstairs to the small infirmary section. He stood in the dark hallway, looking into the brightly lit hospital like room. Shota paused as he looked through the tinted window, seeing a young teen girl in worn out clothes, her skin covered in bandages neck down. Tsukauchi spoke, "Endeavor brought her back, from the villain hideout, and we did a DNA test to see who her parents were. One, her father was the villain were after, and secondly, her mother is in a mental hospital." He continued, "And, since she freaked out when Endeavor, or any big man tried to approach her, I thought that.. you and Hizashi would be able to take her in. Atleast for a little bit, until we can find some relative of hers."
Shota sighed, "Look, Tsukauchi.. I don't think-" He started, but Hizashi interrupted him, "Of course we'll take her in. It can't be that hard." He chuckled, while Shota just shook his head in disbelief. "Dammit Hizashi.."
Tsukauchi chuckled, "Awesome, so once the nurses say she's good, then you can take her home."
