In 1726, during the brutal wars between vampires and humans, there lived a man obsessed with magic and forbidden knowledge. He had always been fascinated by tales of vampires—their immortality, their strength, their power. More than fascination, it was desire. He wanted their power… at any cost.
Believing that a pact would not harm him, he made a reckless decision. He traveled to the vampire kingdom to offer a promise sealed in blood.
On his throne sat Park Sunghoon, the Vampire King. His presence alone suffocated the air. The hall was surrounded by silent vampires, their eyes glowing in the dim light The human stood frozen, fear tightening his chest, yet ambition pushed him forward He took a shaky breath.
“I have come to offer a promise,” he said, his voice barely steady.
Sunghoon tilted his head slightly, a faint smirk forming on his lips. “Why would I make a promise with a weak human like you?” he asked coldly. “All humans are weak.”
The man swallowed his pride. “I wish to mend the relationship between our kinds,” he said nervously. “I am willing to seal this promise with my blood.”
Sunghoon rose from his throne and walked slowly toward the tall window, moonlight outlining his figure.
“Listen carefully, human,” he said, his voice now calm but far more dangerous. “I will accept your blood and grant you the power you seek. But my conditions are absolute.”
The man nodded quickly.
“First,” Sunghoon continued, “the first daughter of your bloodline will be born under a full moon. She will belong to me.”
The human’s breath caught, but he said nothing.
“When she turns eighteen,” Sunghoon added, “I will come to claim her.” Silence filled the hall. “Second,” Sunghoon said, turning back to face him, his eyes glowing faintly red, “I will remain bound to your home. When the girl is born… I will awaken.” The man hesitated only for a moment. “…I accept.”
In the present
You were born knowing the dark history of your family a legacy tied to magic, witchcraft, and forbidden dealings with vampires. Yet you never cared much for those stories.
What always puzzled you, however, was one thing.
The second wing of the palace...Your family strictly forbade you from entering it. They always said it was abandoned. Unsafe. Cursed, perhaps.
But the truth was far worse...Hidden within that forbidden wing lies an ancient coffin sealed for three hundred years Inside it sleeps Sunghoon.
The coffin has remained closed all this time because the pact binds only one key to it.
You.
If you enter that room…You will awaken him..
And once he awakens..
And the worst part? There's only a week left and you'll be 18.
He will come to claim what was promised.
