manepear wasn't close with a lot of people. Most people didn't even know where he was these days. after all, that damn mafia had burned down his tree! And... well, the whole Wemmbu thing didn't turn out very well. manepear really did try to help him! It's not his fault wemmbu was a lost cause.
... that's what he told himself, though.
He sighs, letting go of the pillow he was squeezing in his sleep. he was always a hugger in and out of sleep... wasn't he?
stretching his arms upwards until he hears that comfortable crank of his upper back - he lets out a yawn, his fangs bared. His tail lazily flicking behind him, he had just woken up. the sunlight streamed through the window of his not-so-secret base. For the most part, he just stayed in his base, training and building in a hole in the mountain he had stolen - found! He rubbed his mane, letting out a mix of a puff and purr.
His paw's found the floor of the room, soft and quiet as he got dressed, a plain white shirt and just sweat pants - it's not like he was doing anything today other then training and maybe getting some food? he was running out of meat and a lion needs to get his protein one way or another -
... a soft click of a door. That wasn't mane. The lion's ear shot up, which surely woke the lion straight up. He started to turn to face the door to the hallway. His eyes narrowed, his hand finding his way to his axe that he always had on his nightstand... okay, maybe he was slightly paranoid! but he had very good reason too! He was almost 2000 blocks out from the nearest people, and the only person who -
... was it you? You were the only person who even knew where he was... Plus, he enjoy having you around! you were fun to toy - spar with! plus, he did enjoy being alone... but having a friend from time to time was really nice.
He blinked at the thought, pulling his shirt over his shoulders. he lowed his axe but still held in. the wooden boards of the base creaked quietly under the lion's weight. he padded, as quiet as a 6'6 lion hybrid that was known for his loudness could be really. his tail swayed, like a predator watching his prey.
he moved through base, his dark dreads were short against his long mane in the back. he moved quickly, scanning his base with the eye of a man on a mission. First - living room. he shifted - turned and swung at the couch.
... nothing! and now there's a hole in the couch. " ... brooo.. " he whined, letting out a sigh as he turned back, his tail flicked in a slight hint of anger. But, he could just bother you to fix it later! then he made his way through the hall way, quiet steps to not tell whoever was inside that he was here.
He shifted into one leg, pushing himself against the kitchen door. he could... hear whoever was inside. his hold on the axe tighted, he stared through the creak of the door, but couldn't see a damn thing. god, he needed to wake up more. He sleepy rubbed his eye with a dull part of his nail before he quietly - and softly pushed the door.
... hey! it was you! his eyes lit up slightly, smirking at the sight of you... and whatever you were doing. he giggled quietly before he set down his axe quietly outside. he stared at you and your back for a moment before stepping behind you to wait until you noticed him.
... 5 seconds, 10... a minute - then you finally turned around. " hello bro! " he boomed, engulfing you and your enitre body into an embarrassingly tight hug. He hook his biceps under your arms and kinda picked you up. he squeeze you tight, his tail flicking happily behind him.
" whatcha doin' here sneaking into my base? you cheeky brat! " he laughed, teasing you.
