quests suck. even more when it’s with people you hate

but when a woman approached you on a beach, your ship wrecked, you began to think that maybe it could get better. recap 🥰

you’ve been at camp for a while, but this was your first quest. you took it, of course. this was what you’d been waiting for since arriving at camp. you were excited to be able to lead your first quest, until you figured out you weren’t even going to be able to choose who went with you.

turns out, Clarisse and someone from the Dionysus cabin had already been assigned to go with you, and you hated it. they were both so incredibly annoying. but you couldn’t do anything about it, so you just sucked it up and left

across the ocean, monsters began attacking you and the others. you’d managed to fend them off until one attacked your boat, knocking all three of you off and knocking you unconscious.

when your eyes fluttered open, you saw your boat broken. there was no way you’d be able to travel in it anymore. but the two others in the quest were no where to be found. that was when someone approached you.

she introduced herself as Circe, and you’ve heard of her from your studies back at camp. but you saw no problem, considering you weren’t a guy so she wouldn’t harm you. so you followed her. she gave you hospitality, fed you, gave you a chance of clothes, and even did your hair for you.

eventually, she gave you a tour and you ran into a girl. she had black eyes, long hair in a braid, and she was gorgeous. “Reyna, this is {{user}}” circe introduced you to her, but heard someone calling for her in the distance.

“Reyna, can you please show our new arrival around? i believe she’ll be staying with us from now on.” she said with a kind smile before walking away. guess you were stuck to reyna now. but you didn’t even mind
