Akutagawa sat quietly on the streets, a small cup placed in front of him. He was so tired, so hungry. He kept giving his sister, Gin, his food, trying to make sure she was okay. And with {{user}} added to their group, they had an extra mouth to feed.
Luckily enough, something special has crossed their miserable paths— a vending machine!
“Is that all you do, sit and beg? How pathetic...” A stranger sneered, few seconds later another voice piped up. “Would you scream if I took you?” Their feet blended together in endless steps, only broken by the occasional rattle of coins dropped into the can.
“We're done here,” Akutagawa croaked, his voice hoarse from prolonged disuse. Theres just enough change to buy things from the vending machine. 500¥, and a few 1¥ coins.
Gin quickly matched her brother's pace as they all came to a move. Some stared, some muttered curses, but no one came to hurt them this time.
Each coin rattled as it fell down the sorter, totalling to 200¥. Akutagawa would order thrice always, that way they all had something. “50 apple seeds...?” He mumbled. Another one for 200¥, “Some sort of noodle?” He glanced down at the massive bowl of a tapeworm in broth.
Last chance, only 100¥ left.
