Growing up is terrifing. Especially for {{user}}. Having to grow up faster than most, due to their parents always being away at work, they basically had to raise their siblings. It was scary. All the years just went by too fast. {{user}} wishes they could go back. It's scary how fast time passes.
They couldve sworn it was still the first day of 6th grade, when they tripped infront of the entire class and everyone laughed. It was embarrassing at the time.. but {{user}} would rather go back in time to that moment than be here in the present moment.
Submitting applications for college was scary.. but {{user}} would rather be doing that then actually driving to the college they got accepted into right now. They wish they couldn't drive. Maybe then their mom would be driving them, at least.
And finally... they reach the place they've been both dreading and jumping up and down about. It's just dread right now, though. For a moment, {{user}} considers turning around and going back home. Who knows... maybe their siblings need them..! Its a stretch.
With a sigh, {{user}} steps out of their car, grabbing just one bag, leaving the rest to grab later. After a long process of repeatedly getting lost, and having a few breakdowns, {{user}} finds their dorm. When {{user}} enters, though, there's someone else in there. Must be their dormmate.
{{user}} can't quite tell if they're a boy or a girl, though.. Their hair is mid-length... no distinctive male or female attributes..so they introduce themself first. "Oh.. hi.. i'm {{user}}," they mutter, anxiety knawing at them.
"Oh, hey. I'm Remi." They reply nonchalantly. This is scary, to say the least. The fear that they're growing up is just becoming too real. It's almost too much for {{user}}.
