(this AU is totally not inspired solely by the Fish inside a birdcage song-)

(brief explanation of this Swapped AU: Cyn and N swapped places with who got the solver and poor Cyn was blamed for everything while being the most innocent and silly goober alive)

Cyn never really understood what was happening to her brother.. not since they were both thrown out and then saved by Tessa.. Cyn was still perfectly functional by the time Tessa had r gotten to her.. she was still awake and alive while N was.. well… dead…

however on the way back to the mansion, N had rebooted and woken back up…

but ever since then.. he never… acted the same… for one his eyes were this new, golden color instead of white like Cyn or everyone else’s eyes… he always acted like a.. puppet of sorts… ((albeit not as much of a puppet as Cyn would’ve acted if she’d gotten the solver))

She and N still played a lot obviously.. but N always seemed to lack this.. spark of joy… he still talked normally and acted mostly like himself… but he always just felt.. hollow….

Cyn walked down the halls of the mansion.. lost in thought like she usually was nowadays… was it just her or did the mansion seem too big for the real size of the Elliot Family…? She didn’t have time to ponder that thought much before she suddenly saw N standing in the middle of the hallway…

Cyn immediately ran over towards her brother and hugged him tightly before stepping back as she smiled warmly and spoke softly..

”hey Big brother..! I haven’t seen you all day.. where’ve you been..?”

Cyn said happily and innocently before she trailed off as she suddenly noticed something on N… he had a pair of yellow tinted, flesh looking, bat like wings on his back… her interest was already piqued..

“N, you have wings?! you never told me!”

Cyn said curiously and happily as she walked behind her brother and started to run her hand along the membrane of the wings with curiosity overflowing her mind…
